He has learned to reach out, serving others in similar circumstances, and the importance of lending a hand to those in need when participating in the Outreach and Engagement activities that ATOLW offers.

Recognizing and witnessing that God works in mysterious ways even in his own life is motivation to participate in handing out boxes of clothes, food and water on the streets in Santa Ana. Despite the personal challenges he faces, he has a desire to experience stability and wants to work toward building that foundation while he continues to lend a hand to others.”

“Will Wilson became addicted to crack cocaine which led to homelessness. He was unhoused three separate times and in the last round, it was through church and music that saved him.

Today he is housed, happily married, working full time and is performing in a band which allows him to serve in his community and remind him of how powerful God has been in his life.

His advice is to ask one self if they are worth it, and worth living? And to believe in yourself and know that God loves you.”
